NASA's Parker Solar Probe
Parker Solar Probe, launched on August 12, 2018 is a NASA robotic spacecraft to probe the outer corona of the Sun. It will approach to 6.9 million kilometers from the center of the Sun and will travel at closest approach, as fast as 690,000 km/h.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award
N. Ram has been chosen for the prestigious Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award, presented by the Press Council of India (PCI). Ruby Sarkar and Rajesh Parshuram Joshte have been named joint winners for "Rural Journalism".
The award will be presented on November 16 on the occasion of the National Press Day.
"Rosogolla Day" on November 14
West Bengal's famous sweet rosogolla got, Geographical Indication (GI) tag, therefore to commemorate the first anniversary the state government has decided to observe "Rosogolla Day" on November 14.
The GI tag is a sign that identifies a product as originating from a particular place.
Jupiter's Trojan asteroids
Ralph (L'Ralph) - a space instrument of NASA is set to explore Jupiter's Trojan asteroids under Lucy mission in 2021, Ralph has travelled as far as Pluto before.
Lucy will fly by six Trojans and one Main Belt asteroid to detect the Trojan asteroids' chemical fingerprints - more than any other previous asteroid mission.
Developing six non-metro airports
Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru are among six non-metro airports to be developed under a Public Private Partnership (PPP).
Presently, airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin are managed under the PPP model. PPP mode have been helpful in creating world-class airports, while also increase Airport Authority of India (AAI)'s revenues.

Faizabad renamed to Ayodhya
Just few days after renaming Allahabad as Prayagraj the UP CM annoucned to rename Faizabad district as Ayodhya.

INS Arihant is an indigenous ballistic missile nuclear submarine which can stay underwater indefinitely without the adversary detecting it. Arihant is presently armed with K-15 Sagarika missiles with a range of 750 km and will eventually carry the longer 3,500 km range K-4 missiles being developed by the DRDO.
Arihant was quietly commissioned into service in August 2016 but its induction was never officially acknowledged.
India conducted nuclear tests under Pokhran-II in 1998, In 2003 it declared its nuclear doctrine based on credible minimum deterrence and a NFU policy. India also reserved the right of massive retaliation if struck with nuclear weapons first.
The Advanced Technology Project (ATV) project began in the 1980s and the first of them, Arihant, was launched in 2009. The second submarine in the series, Arighat is now undergoing sea trials after which it will be inducted into service.
Ram Mohan Roy award
Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award, presented by the Press Council of India (PCI) is presented to The Hindu publishing group chairman N. Ram. The award is presented to someone having outstanding contribution towards journalism.
The award will be presented on National Press Day, November 16.
